Job Description

Process Engineer Location: ChepstowPosition: Full time, PermanentSalary: Up to £40,000Our Client: We are delighted to be working with this growing company with a focus on improving health care with their extraordinary products. Their success has seen significant growth throughout the pandemic.Their magnificent research and manufacturing products to improve healthcare are used to treat patients in multiple countries. They are looking for someone who would like to be a part of an extraordinary journey based in Chepstow. They continue to grow withambitious and realistic plans to impact the health of others.This role is to assist the design and development of my clients premium products. Responsibilities of Process Engineer:

  • Manufacture of devices containing small parts and low volume manufacturing
  • Assisting in the product development
  • Ensure the impact of design and process changes are fully assessed and necessary revisions to the technical file are made using engineering change control procedures
  • Development of manufacturing and verification
  • Test method qualification
  • Providing assistance in qualifying and evaluating new equipment
  • To work at and maintain company quality procedures and practises
  • Planning ahead to achieve goals and working to deadlines
  • To maintain documentation and records and ensure they are accurate and up to date
  • Update with the line manager with progression
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
  • Partake in the training provided
The ideal candidate:
  • Highly experienced working within a Quality Management System ISO13485
  • Degree qualified or equivalent skills from a mechanical, electronic, manufacturing, product engineering-based discipline
  • Excellent abilities with CAD
  • Experience of designing products and performing verification to meet IEC60601 test standards
  • Great IT skills, confident with Microsoft platforms
  • Ability to work under pressure
