Job Description

Health Care AssistantNights | Chepstow, Monmouthshire | Full Time | £10.90 per hourOur client is a residential Care Home that prides itself on the warm, family atmosphere amongst residents and qualified staff. The Home believes that continued relationships remain at the forefront of its success.In this role, you will join a highly motivated team to deliver excellent care, dignity, and independence and maintain a family-based environment. You will find this role to be extremely rewarding.You will work 11 hour shifts on the floor from 9pm-8am.What can you expect in return

  • Training provided and progression through QCF Qualifications Level 2, 3, 4 and 5

What will your role as a Health Care Assistant look like
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet
  • Utilising equipment to move patients when necessary
  • Helping tidy the patients home or room
  • Taking the patients vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Talking to patients and reassuring them
  • Attending meetings with other healthcare professionals
  • Assisting nurses and other staff when needed
  • Adhering to professional standards
  • Delivering reports to Case Managers and reviewing any important changes in the patients condition
