EBD Childrens Residential Support Worker - Driver£10.42-£12.00+ (PAYE - not under umbrella) Additional holiday pay + pension contribution + benefitsHoliday pay is separate, NOT inclusive of your hourly pay. i.e. £11.50 + holiday pay**Please note that we dont use umbrella companies, so our payroll organise your Income Tax and National Insurance contributions before youre paid - meaning no hidden fees! Holiday pay will be accrued as you work meaning no need to save money back forholiday/time off! You have a whole year to use it and can use this however and how often you wish** Due to increased demand, Brook Street (BS) Social Care are recruiting Support Workers across various locations.Your role would be to aid in delivering support to children and young people through meeting their individual needs and their personal plans. Ideally you will have experience of working with children, however transferable skills within social care wouldbe accepted.Required: You will need to be a driver to aid in taking individuals out in the community in addition to ease of access to various services/companies we work with. Flexibility can be offered with a range of shifts including days, nights,sleeps, weekends and bank holidays. This role offers the opportunity of 24-hour shifts (long days and sleeps) or ongoing block bookings.Ideally you will have team-teach, PBM or a form of restraint however we have free training that you have the opportunity to attend. We require someone with strong communication skills as some of the individuals supported may use non-verbal communication.You will be aiding to promote independence, aiding to develop life skills and encouraging individuals to get involved with a range of activities.Additionally, we work with a variety of companies through different settings including supporting adults with learning disabilities, individuals living in hostel or at risk of homelessness, adults with mental health needs and elderly individuals and more…Benefits of working with us:

To work with us, you will need:

• Ideally 6 months paid UK care experience in the last year or a year in the last 5 years
• Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
• Right to work in the UK (please note, we do not offer sponsorship)
• To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
• Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
