We are delighted to assist them in their search for a Depot Operations Manager at their site in Chepstow, Monmouthshire. Reporting into the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the day to day (6am - 2pm) running of the busy operation, which runs from Monday to Saturday.Key Accountabilities as Depot Operations Manager:

  • Day to Day Operations Management of a busy Warehouse and Transport environment
  • Control costs and improve upon KPIs
  • Responsible for site H&S and the overview of the systems within
  • Ensure the site works within the BRC and ISO 9001 frameworks
  • Ensuring and managing safe working practices on site including HSQE inspections
The Ideal Person for the Depot Operations Manager role:
  • Previous experience of managing a similar FMCG Warehouse and Transport operation
  • Ideally able to demonstrate an understanding of working within a BRC framework
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
