Shipment Unpacker - Part time

We are looking for an Unpacker Shipment to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading shipments, verifying the accuracy of the items received, and organizing the items in an orderly fashion. The ideal candidate will have akeen eye for detail and be able to work quickly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and is looking for a fast-paced work environment.Responsibilities:Rate : £11/hour Work Hour : Flexible (Preferably daytime 10 am - 5 pm ) 2 days a week Attire: Clean and respectable- Unpacking: Carefully and efficiently open boxes, containers, or packaging to access the items within.-Quality Inspection: Inspect products for any damage, discrepancies, or defects. Ensure that received items meet quality standards and specifications sorting-Documenting Inventory: Record and document the received items, including quantities, product descriptions, and any issues identified during the inspection. This information is crucial for inventory management.-Maintain Work Area: Keep the unpacking area clean and organised. Dispose of packing materials and debris properly.-Sorting and Organising: Sort and organise unpacked items, ensuring they are stored in the appropriate location or distributed to the correct department or area.-Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members, including packers and inventory control personnel to ensure a smooth workflow.
