Are you an experienced administrator – ideally with knowledge of the Mental Health Act or a qualification in it - looking for a new challenge If so, join Wellesley Hospitalas a Mental Health Act Administrator.As the Mental Health Act Administrator you will work as part of the administration team at Wellesley Hospital a servicefor men and women with mental health problems, where you will work 37.5 hours a week ensuring the department upholds a confidential andefficient service in accordance with the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended November 2007).You will be responsible for managing and analysing Mental Health Act correspondence and documentation, this includes undertaking assessment requests, transfer of authority, consent to treatments, renewals of detention, consent to treatments and arranginghearings, tribunals and appeals.You will also liaise with clinicians, allied professionals, service users, their families, legal representatives and official agencies, receiving and responding to enquiries and requests for information in accordance with company policy, service level agreementsand statutory regulations.In this role, you will have the opportunity to improve processes and the general flow of information so that the service can operate efficiently.At Elysium, we want the best for you.
