This well established, renowned textile house is seeking a Sales Executive to join their London team. The company supply their range of traditional and contemporary textiles, fabrics and wallpapers to interior designers and furniture makers around the world. Their luxury products can be found in stately homes, historic castles, chateaus and high-end private residences.The Sales Executive will work from the showroom but will also be required to attend external client presentations (in London) when required. The job role will involve working with interior designers / trade professionals to present the range of high-end fabrics, textiles and furniture. Assist with putting schemes together for client projects, place orders and liaise with the administration staff on order updates, organise showroom and external presentations and follow up leads and enquiries in a timely manner. The Sales Executive will take ownership of their own portfolio of interior design / trade accounts and will be responsible for building and maintaining those relationships.The company is looking for someone who possesses experience of working with luxury interior design fabrics and who has ideally worked in a trade showroom selling to interior design professionals. Applicants will have a sensitivity for colour, design and texture in order to be able to provide a professional design consultation. Sales experience is essential.This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for interior design and fabrics who is looking for a role that combines both showroom meetings and external client presentations. This will be a varied role that suits someone who enjoys sales and building relationships.Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm. Basic salary £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience plus commission.
