Job Description

Year 1 Teacher - Fixed-Term Maternity Cover (3 days per week) ChelmsfordFixed-Term ContractSalary: £130-£200 daily.We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our dedicated team for a fixed-term maternity cover position. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our Year 1 students, ensuring anurturing and engaging learning environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons for Year 1 students in accordance with the schools curriculum.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as needed.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best teaching practices.
  • Participate in school-wide events and activities as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Year 1 students is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Hours:
  • This position is part-time, working 3 days a week ( 8:30 - 3:45)
  • Monday- Friday term time
