This extremely friendly and well established practice are currently seeking a Newly Qualified Senior, QBE, part qualified ACA/ACCA or stopped studier senior, looking to further develop their skills in a well-established and ambitious practice assisting their busy professional team with delivering our full range of services to our diverse client base.This is a Senior/Supervisor role that reports directly to Director Level. The role is based at my clients conveniently located Cheam offices and is a high profile and extremely responsible role paying a very competitive salary and a summary of the responsibilities appear below:-Complete sets of accounts, working from source documents/records to final accounts for review by the appropriate manager/director.Prepare and work on a wide range of accounts - Limited Company, Sole Trader, Partnership, Group etc.Input data into Iris.Analyse and reconcile VAT returns, preparation of VAT returns.Prepare sales and purchase control accounts.Calculate accruals and prepayments and supporting schedules.Prepare or check fixed asset registers.Produce management accounts monthly and quarterly for reporting and projection purposes.Preparing Corporate & Personal Tax computations for manager/director review.Dealing with general client queries.Ad-hoc client projects.Applications for this vital role are particularly welcome from newly qualified / part qualified (ACA/ACCA) or experienced QBE Accountants with strong literacy and numerical skills and proven double entry bookkeeping ability. Basic tax knowledge on personal and corporate tax computations, PAYE, VAT would be required and any experience on Iris, Xero, Sage Line 50 plus Excel & Word would be ideal. It is anticipated that you will currently be working within a practice environment and have around 5+ years’ experience.InterestedIf you have up-to-date technical knowledge including recent developments in accounting standards, excellent communication skills and live within commutable distance of Cheam and are very client focused & commercially aware then this would be an ideal opportunity for you so please forward your CV to us as soon as possible for immediate interview.
