The opportunity has arisen to work with a national water treatment company who deliver water treatment/hygiene and legionella services to a high profile portfolio of national clients. They are currently recruiting for a committed and skilled Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Greater Manchester area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in undertaking routine water treatment duties such as cleaning and disinfections on cooling towers, closed systems and carrying out tank cleans. Previous experience carrying out pre-commissioning cleaning duties will also be advantageous. Applications from Bolton, Wigan, Rochdale, Leigh and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience:Applicants will come from a good chemical and technical background, ideally with a City & Guilds qualification.Previous experience working as a water treatment engineer is essential. Fully conversant in Health & Safety regulations relevant to the water treatment industry.Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.Proficient IT skills including using MS Office. Duties of the Role: Undertaking refurbishments, cleaning and disinfections, cooling towers, water systems, tank cleans etc.Performing routine sampling, temperature checks, monitoring air and water systems.Must be fully conversant in current Health and Safety legislation.Carrying out pre-commissioning cleaning duties as required. Maintaining professional relationship with clients.
