Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Video Editor to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester (although the role will initially be home-based during Covid-19 restrictions).You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £20k-25k per annum.Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.As our Video Editor, the successful candidate will play an integral role in Creating, producing and editing video content for all platforms (TV, events, and social media), utilising specialist programs and equipment, in order to motivate donors to donate, to generate feedback, and to raise awareness of Human Appeal. We are ideally looking to appoint somebody immediately to this role.Benefits of joining us as our Video Editor include:- 35 days Annual Leave- Matched pension contribution- Employee discounts and memberships- Prayer facilities- Opportunity to really make a difference!Key duties and responsibilities of our Video Editor:- Produce and edit video content suitable for publication across multiple channels.- Produce content in keeping with Human Appeal’s goals and values.- Streamline the production and organisation of multi-media assets for the Human Appeal multimedia data bank.- Discover and create new and recurring video/multi-media formats for content.- Ensure videos have a lasting impact in order to boost engagement and support donation targets.What we’re looking for in our Video Editor:- Degree educated in a relevant field- One year’s experience in a similar role- Knowledge of the following:> Adobe Premier> Adobe After Effects> 3D Studio Max/ Maya 3d/ Rhino 3D (not essential)> Adobe Audition> Adobe Illustrator> InDesign> Photoshop- Fluent English.
