Job Description

Want to help manage a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) accountable for the IT of SME and Corporate customers across CheshireOrganic growth has created a new role with direct responsibility for managing the day to day service delivery and operations function whilst leading the service team members and making sure clients are supported and happy.Mentoring, motivating and managing a growing team of engineers with various skill sets who are responsible for day to day ticket resolution, major incidents, project delivery and system monitoring is a key focus of the role.Having an extensive technical background is not essential although at minimum an understanding of IT fundamentals and technology is required and by virtue of prior roles candidates will likely have experience of working with common MSP tools and technologies, such as Autotask, Datto, ConnectWise, Kaseya, Zendesk, VMware, AWS, Azure and Office 365 in a management capacity.The successful candidate will draw on prior experience in owning just some of the following role attributes;

  • Develop, maintain and manage processes & procedure and knowledge base documentation, ensuring all SOPs are followed
  • Resource utilisation management and scheduling
  • CSAT monitoring and management
  • KPI monitoring and management
  • Recruitment and line management for direct reports
  • Customer and team escalation management
  • Although based from my clients offices near to Cheadle, candidates should have access to their own car and license for occasional customer site visits. Currently my client is operating a rotation of staff between working from home and office to promote physical distancing in response to the pandemic, however the role is considered to be office based in non-pandemic conditions.Finally, as a core link between my client, their team and their customers, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.Benefits in addition to salary include supported training and development plans, assistance/health plan, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
