Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledgeand skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.As a Senior Support Worker/Shift Coordinator you will be working within a team, which includes a range of professionals as you contribute to providing high quality care. You will work within an identified career development pathway and be expected to completeappropriate competency development portfolios.It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. Who doesnt like a free massage at workWith a huge range of courses that will help you grow and succeed, if you have the aspiration, capability and dedication, Elysium Healthcare can give you the support and opportunities to help you achieve your career goals.The shift patterns include working nights and weekends, 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week.Where you will be workingLocation: The Woodhouse, Lockwood Road, Cheadle, Staffordshire ST10 4QUWorking alongside a multidisciplinary team, youll provide person-centred care for male and female patients with a learning disability/ autism or personality disorder. Gaining experience across low secure and locked rehabilitation environments to supportbetter health and greater independence.Youll work in environments ranging from small village cottages, where independent living skills can be developed, to 8 bedded units that facilitate the development of daily living skills. The service values positive risk-taking opportunities within a contextof robust risk assessment and management to ensure those we support are kept safe.The Woodhouse is located near Cheadle in Staffordshire, which is commutable from Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Uttoxeter and surrounding areas.What you will get
