The school are currently looking for the following roles:1:1 Mentorwith a student with ASDSupporting a pupil who is struggling to work in a static classroom environment. Your role will be to act as a mentor to get to the heart of the issue with the young person and come up with an action plan/targets to achieve to support them back in the classroomAttendance team This role is working with pupils that have additional needs on top of their SEND statement. They are not engaging in school life and have not attended school properly. Your role here is working more with the vulnerable pupils in the school, those at mostrisk and those who need the most support. Here you will be looking at attendance plans and plans to help them reintegrate into the school.This school deals with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) from KS2 to KS4 all students have a statement for SEN needs due to behaviour or their additional learning needsKey challenges are behaviour - this is an SEMH provision so staff must be able to manage anti-social behaviours. Non-judgemental approach is needed and empathy for the students whose behaviour is a form of communication.
