Job Description

Milk Education are working with a SEND School looking for a Learning Support Assistant in Stockport The role as a SEND Learning Support Assistant will include working with students on a whole class basis as well as 1:1 interventions with pupils who may experienceadditional needs and disabilities such as, ASD, PMLD, Speech and Language difficulties and challenging behaviours.To be considered for the SEND Learning Support Assistant position you will ideally be/have:

  • Prior experience working with Special Educational Needs.
  • Experience supporting or assisting children with behaviour.
  • The ability to develop good relationships with pupils.
  • Be an excellent practitioner.
  • Offer drive, kindness, enthusiasm, imagination and commitment.
  • Establish a caring, inclusive environment with a focus on developing the whole child.
  • Be passionate about achievement for every child and committed to on-going professional learning.
