Job Description

Imaging Lead - CTLocation: Cheadle, CheshireParking: Free onsiteJob Type: PermanentFull Time 37.5 hours per weekProposed start date: ASAPSector: Private HealthcareBase: HospitalPay Rates: Up to £43,000 PAWorking Days and Hours: The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.Benefits:

Role Purpose:Overseeing day to day clinical service delivery, with a high degree of professionalism; ensuring effective deployment of staff and provision of a high quality, responsive, patient focused serviceCore Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
  • Overseeing day to day clinical service delivery, with a high degree of professionalism; ensuring effective deployment of staff and provision of a high quality, responsive, patient focused service.
  • To ensure that high quality, responsive cross sectional Imaging services are delivered to meet the needs of all customers and the business.
  • To maintain ongoing dialogue with Consultant Radiologists on all clinical aspects of Imaging service delivery and support the the Clinical Services Manager (CSM) in ensuring sessional use is maximised.
  • To support the CSM ensuring efficient patient booking and scanning targets are reached
  • To be the link between main x-ray department and scanning center to improve efficiency and interdepartmental collaboration
Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:
  • Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience within a multi-modality imaging department.
  • A wide general radiographic background with expertise in one or more specialised area.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and the systems and processes used.
  • Aware of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability.
  • Fluoroscopy, CT and X-ray experience highly desirable
  • Two years previous experience in a team lead role
  • Experience in similar role
