This position is on a temp-perm basis so we are looking for a committed individualwith the intention of staying at the school permanently and warmly encourage those with extensive knowledge of the Early Years Framework to apply. The role will be full-time from after October half-term and paid at a very competitive rate which presents avery exciting opportunity! There is a chance that the school will consider doing this on a job share basis for the right candidates.About the RoleThe school is looking to appoint an excellent EYFS practitioner to join the hardworking team of staff who are passionate about pupil development. Class numbers are small and this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the strategic developmentof a new vision for EYFS provision. The successful candidate must have the ability to motivate, support and challenge all learners through a creative curriculum. At this school, children are encouraged to be independent and have a desire to be life-long learners.The school has recently been judged Good on Ofsted and has effective structures in place with a strong focus on Read Write Inc. Ideally, the successful candidate will have had experience teaching this phonics scheme and be well versed in the EYFS frameworkand effective continuous provision.As Early Years lead, you will be first point of call for advice and/or support on academic and pastoral matters and will play an instrumental role in EYFS and supporting the wider leadership team.The successful candidate will:Have wide experience of the Early Years curriculum and be an exceptional classroom practitioner and inspiring teacherHave excellent knowledge and a sound understanding of the New Early Years FrameworkBe enthusiastic, resourceful and committed to ensuring the highest possible standards of achievement and personal development, supporting every child to flourishHave a willingness to contribute to the life of the school and its communityPossess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, time management and be committed to their own professional developmentHave a good sense of humour and willing to go the extra mileBe creative, imaginative, energetic and be able to motivate othersWork collaboratively to promote and safeguard the welfare of children within the schoolIf you feel you meet the criteria for this EYFS teacher and leader position, click Apply Now to be considered for this fantastic opportunity! • QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
• Experience teaching in Early Years with excellent references to support your previous experience
• Provide a CV with 10 years employment history and explanations of any CV gaps
• Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
• Have a right to work in the UK
