Job Description

Job Title: External Sales Engineer - Automation SpecialistPosition Overview: my client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven External Sales Engineer with a strong focus on automation solutions. This role will involve engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored automationstrategies to enhance their operations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their business requirements and challenges.
  • Provide expert guidance and technical support on automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop customised proposals based on client needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our automation solutions.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering role, preferably within the automation industry.
  • Strong technical background in automation technologies and systems.
  • Proficiency in understanding and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with various departments.
