We are currently recruiting CNC Milling Machinist Programmers for Cheadle, Staffordshire based Client. Please find job description below:The main responsibilities include;* Knowledge and experience in Fanuc and Heidenhain machines* Work out the most efficient order to carry out machining tasks* Choose the right tools for each stage* Set cutting speeds and tolerance speeds*Check that work meets quality and technical standards* Run multiple machines where possible to maximise productivity* Accurate use of measuring equipment* Read, understand and interpret engineering arrangement drawings, part lists and procedures* Performing quality checks on completed products* Compliance with Health and Safety and risk assessmentsIdeally candidate will have;* Mechanical Engineering training* Knowledge of Fanuc controls* Be Time served in a similar role* An enthusiastic and committed approach to broadening technical skills and experience* Strong multi-functional team player with flexibility to multitask and adapt to changing priorities* Ability to work individually and pull together as part of a team* Excellent communicator* Willingness to do overtime when required in order to complete workbookJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £15.00 per hourHours of work:07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Wednesday07:30 to 15:00 Thursday07:30 to 13:30 FridayPlease contact us for details.
