An entrepreneurial business owner is looking for a Finance and Operations Business Partner to work closely with him and the rest of the board with the primary aim of identifying, implementing and driving cohesive and efficient working practices to supportthe continued growth of the businesses. These businesses cut across recruitment (JAM Recruitment), property development (SUMO Developments) and property rental (KRM Properties). This permanent role will be based between our Cheadle and Alderley Edge officeswith some local travel and occasional home working.In this role youll be acting as a conduit between the CEO and the operational areas of the business - youll provide analytical insights on essential projects, identify (and solve) critical challenges and ensure that the board have the appropriate informationto make good business decisions. This will involve working collaboratively with a variety of functions such as project planning, procurement, finance, recruitment operations and sales.This role is a vital one for the growth of the businesses and will require somebody who has held a similar role in a fast paced and varied environment. To succeed in this role as a Finance and Operations Business Partner, youll ideally have some level of financequalification but, at the very minimum, will have worked extremely closely with the finance department of your previous employer(s). In addition, youll bring flexibility along with commercial and business acumen that will help you identify opportunities forbusiness growth and efficiency. Other skills youll ideally have include budget management, data analysis, project management and the confidence to push back on senior employees. Sector wise, experience of either property development or recruitment would bea bonus. In this role, youll receive a salary in the region of £30,000 to £50,000 - applicants at both ends of the salary banding are welcome because, as this is a brand new position, we are open to both somebody who will hit the ground running and somebody who willneed mentoring and development.
