With previous experience in a similar setting from the NHS or private care as a Registered Nurse. Its what delivering great healthcare should feel like.What you will be doingAs a Charge Nurse you will be working within a team that includes a range of professionals to support females with learning disabilities and/or autism at The Woodhouse, in Cheadle, Staffordshire.You will work within an identified career development pathway and be expected to complete appropriate competency development portfolio.No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine. Experience of assessing and teaching junior staff and coordinating care. The candidate needs to prioritise key tasks in relation to the sphere of work and report writing. Management of health and Safety and related issuesWhere you will be workingLocation: The Woodhouse, Lockwood Road, Cheadle, Staffordshire ST10 4QUWorking alongside a multidisciplinary team, youll provide person-centred care for male and female patients with a learning disability/ autism or personality disorder. Gaining experience across low secure and locked rehabilitation environments to support better health and greater independence.Youll work in environments ranging from small village cottages, where independent living skills can be developed, to 8 bedded units that facilitate the development of daily living skills.
