We are recruiting a part time Caretaker and Site Support for a well established organisation in Cheadle.Role will suit a candidate with good people skills who has good eye for detail and enjoys supporting others too.The post is 25 hours per week - can be a job share too - and is flexible working to include weekends.The role will involve key-holding and alarm setting responsibilities and so please be aware that there will be a criminal records check completed within this recruitment process.The post:- Opening up site on Saturdays and supporting with key area checks, maintenance and basic cleaning duties as required- being on site on some occasions for events- carrying out alarm / lighting and security checks- some gardening / outside maintenance as required - basic tidying duties / pruning / hedge trimming- Sourcing, booking and supervising contractors for major or minor repair- checking over the building, including heating, cooling, lighting and alarm systems to make sure they are in good working order- following the companys safety policies to create a safe working environment for everyoneThere will be occasional call outs if required and this will be ad hoc and so flexibility is essential however the team are supportive too of their ideal candidate with days off in the week to suit as required.The ideal candidate:This is a great opportunity for a candidate who enjoys maintenance, some DIY, cleaning and facilities and who wants to work part time where they will be highly valued in their role.Will suit a locally based candidate with ideally access to own transportWill enjoy working with people and also working in a self starter roleContact me for more details onAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
