Contract Performance and Health & Safety ManagerChatham, KentAbout the roleHere at Babcock International, were looking to recruit a Contract Performance and Health & Safety Manager to be responsible for ensuring the contract performance as well as carrying out duties as the Health & Safety Officer (SHEF).Responsibilities include:• Review KPIs of the contract• Manage the performance metrics• Work with the Authority Contract Manager to ensure the above are being met• Develop and implement a strategic SHEF plan• Ensure the business retains ISO 14001 accreditation.This is an exciting role to develop your existing skills in a good working environment, and potential opportunities for career progression within the business and the wider Babcock Company.What do I need to do the roleYou must hold NEBOSH National Diploma (or working towards) in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, and Chartered member (or working towards) of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.Having an understanding of Operations (KPIs, business metrics) would be an advantage but training can be provided.Knowledge of the Military would be desirable.What else do I need to knowTravel to other sites will be required.We are happy to talk about flexible working.
