Supply Chain Project Manager - Chard, Somerset - £45,000 to £55,000 - plus pension and bonusMelbreck Technical are working with a leading engineering business who specialise in making bespoke equipment used in a variety of sectors.Due to planned growth within their supply chain function, they are looking to find a Supply Chain Project Manager to join their business ASAP.Supply Chain Project Manager - Role Overview:Reporting in the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the project management for specific supply chain objectives within the organisation, and will involve projects of varying complexity, size and importance.Supply Chain Project Manager - Main Duties:Lead multiple projects and ensure projects are delivered on time, to financial budgets, quality and to the satisfaction of the customer.Ensure supplier capacity and strategies are in line with business needs.Finding new suppliers as well as developing, sustaining or exiting current suppliers.Support and deliver deflation plan and PPI for purchased direct material.Work with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.Support and co-ordinate value activities for supply chain.Establishes direction for cross-functional teams.Supply Chain Project Manager - Experience Required:Management experienceDetail orientatedOrganisedClear communicatorExcellent negotiation skillsProven knowledge of machined componentsSupply Chain Project Manager - Hours and Benefits37.5 hours Monday to Friday with Friday being a half day10% Bonus25 Days holiday plus bank holidaysIndustry Leading pension scheme paying up to 15%If you are looking to join a forward-thinking business that values its colleagues then click apply now and start your application!
