Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to ensure that the companys quality management and production system is implemented and maintained within the division.Main responsibilities:

  • Carry out efficient inspection & maintain inspection records
  • Final release of customer product / Approved Signatory
  • Liaison with production with regard to priorities and customer requirements
  • Periodic Checks (wash, Leco, etc)
  • Ensure that any equipment used is within calibration and in good condition
  • Provide holiday/sickness cover as required including SAT/TUS, associated purchasing, reviewing/acceptance of purchased product/certification
  • Raising and approving TDC
  • Control of non-conformance
  • Contract review
  • Undertake site projects as instructed
  • Follow company health and safety procedures
  • Follow company environmental procedures
  • Comply with all quality system requirements
  • Maintain good working practices and housekeeping
Qualifications, experience and skills:
  • No formal qualifications required but evidence of good general education standard.
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Hardness testing inspection experience preferred.
