Due to increased pupil numbers next academic year, we are looking for a Latin Teacher (NQT or experienced) with a genuine drive and enthusiasm for their subject, together with the motivation and subject knowledge to be able to challenge and inspire our students in all three Key Stages of this lively, high- achieving and multicultural comprehensive school. The successful candidate, who must be a team player, will be expected to take an active involvement in the department and in school life in general. The ability to teach any other subject from the Classics realm in KS5 is essential.We also collaborate with the local Harris primary schools to teach Latin in Years 5-6, as well as supporting provision in another Harris secondary academy in the local area. The successful candidate will be expected to embrace this collaboration.You will join a committed and supportive team and have the opportunity to teach across key stages three, four and five.
