As an Estimator, you’ll work from technical drawings, to create and prepare quotations for large-scale M&E (mechanical and electrical) projects, predominantly within the construction sector. The emphasis will be on quality over quantity, and you’ll support projects valued at £500k upwards, liaising with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to play your part in the successful delivery of the project.What you’ll do:

Prepare estimates for mechanical and electrical projects
Liaise with internal teams to gain project objectives
Understand and interpret tender documentation to include drawings and specs
Prepare costs for labour, materials, equipment and overheads
Work alongside subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project compliance
Conduct site visits as required

What you’ll need:

A background in construction as a M&E estimator
Strong mechanical and electrical technical knowledge
The ability to read technical drawings, specifications and blueprints
