Job Description

We are working with a fantastic gift brand whose products grace the shelves of leading high street favorites worldwide. They are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator/Junior Merchandiser to join their team.Working directly with both Global suppliers and leading retailers, you will ensure the all retailers requirements are met, accurate and to schedule. You will check client’s forecasts, ensure orders are being produced in line with the critical path, and delivered to agreed dates. This is a date heavy role, so the successful candidate will be highly numeric, accurate and have great attention to detail. Someone with experience working for an SME where you have gained broad Supply Chain experience would be ideal.This is a great opportunity with an excellent Company who really grow and develop their team members.   • Liaising with factories to ensure completion of manufactured goods in timely manner, and booking in the freight forwarders as required
  • Working with key retailers, ensuring their stock is delivered on time and to requirements
  • Attending meetings with retailers as required
  • Checking retailers’ forecasts, and that commitment is secure before orders are placed
  • Administrative duties including invoicing, completing new line forms, updating and maintaining internal systems, monitoring warehouse costs
  • Managing shipment schedules for your accounts
  • The successful Supply Chain Coordinator/Junior Merchandiser will have the following:
  • 2+ years’ experience within supply chain, merchandising or operations in a wholesale environment
  • Experience of dealing with suppliers, ideally in the Far East
  • Experience working directly with leading retailers preferred, but not compulsory
  • Experience working with Ex Works / FOB shipments and freight forwarders
  • Highly organised, numeric, and deadline driven
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and efficient time management
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, a real; people person
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, with a proactive approach
  • Enthusiasm, positivity and flexibility are essential
