Job Description

Consumer Additions are currently partnering with a leading Wine & Spirits business, who are looking to recruit a Stock Controller, based in their head office in Central London. You will be joining a passionate and ambitious team, who are looking to add an extra member of the team to help them through a period of change and improvement across the business.Ideally suited to someone with high volume stock processing & SKU experience, you will get involved in daily reporting and management of system processes, analysis and partnering with various commercial teams to make cost savings across the business.

  • Complete stock reconciliations system and third party warehouses
  • Work with various teams to facilitate variance resolution.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on stock levels, stock accuracy, and stock adjustments
  • Monitor automated stock movements received from the logistics partner
  • Identify and process manual stock movements from 3PLs
  • Support the Finance team and wider business in systems upgrade project.
  • Maintain and update a stock control issues log to highlight identified problems
  • Work with Demand Planning to complete the stock transfer reconciliation process
  • Approve and manually process all supplier returns
  • With support from wider finance team, drive stock control best practice across the business
  • Attend the end of year stock count (usually over a weekend) to support the reconciliation process where required
  • Personal Requirements:
  • At least 2 years experience in high volume FMCG Stock focused role, ideally Beverages
  • Analytical approach and strong problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Passion for improving systems, specifically ERP and Warehouse management systems
