Job Description

If you are a dynamic, passionate Marketing Manager with managed payroll marketing experience you may be just the person we are looking for to join the rapidly expanding Marketing team is Iris Software’s London office!As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the go-to-market strategies for the products within your business sector.With a clear focus on delivering sales leads and pipeline, you will work with the wider marketing team to define positioning and key messages then with your team conceive and develop campaigns that drive demand from prospective and existing customers.You will work closely with sales and account management teams to understand motivations for purchase as well as with development teams on new functionality and its launch. This is a pivotal role within the company with a clear focus on driving sales pipeline.About the job…

  • Work with your team to develop and implement integrated fully marketing campaigns that meet KPIs for MQLs/SQLS and pipeline targets
  • Be an expert in your product, what it does and how to get the best from it; your customers, why and how they buy; also your competition, their strengths, weaknesses and how to beat them.
  • Co-ordinate campaigns with Product and Product Marketing to ensure customer value proposition and key messages are consistent and effective towards the target audiences
  • Analyse your marketing activities, including email performance, websites, PPC, landing pages and social activities to determine their effectiveness and hone and improve as necessary
  • Work with wider marketing and sales teams to identify potential new lead acquisition channels, new marketing tactics and cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Team to ensure your team has full visibility of digital channel performance to help identify where improvements and efficiencies can be made
  • Work with Marketing Content and Design teams on the development of all materials/content for your product, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date and reflect brand positioning and key messages
  • Collaborate with your sales team to ensure marketing activities are aligned to sales plan and actively seek feedback from them on campaign effectiveness
  • Manage your budget ensuring all activities are fully costed and within agreed spend
  • Work with Marketing Operations to ensure campaign data is up-to-date for reporting, tracking and ROI analysis
  • Work with the Product Development to understand future enhancements and updates and ensure these are communicated effectively to customers and prospects.
  • Generate marketing reports for monthly meetings
