Job Description

Partner Financial are working with a successful, high growth global Consumer business based in London. The business is looking for an Interim Financial Controller to take ownership of the European Group, which has a turnover in excess of £70million. This is an exciting time for the business and this newly created role will be pivotal to the business achieving its aggressive growth strategy.Reporting directly to the Head of Group Finance you will be responsible for business partnering the Senior Management team and Departments Heads, whilst managing the preparation of the management and statutory accounts. This position would suit a naturally talented individual who has the drive, ambition and potential to advance in a high-growth business.Key Responsibilities:

  • Business partnering with the Heads of Departments and the Senior Management team
  • Providing commercial support and analysis to the Senior Management team
  • Making recommendations as to where the European business performance can improve
  • Managing the European forecasting and budgeting process, and supporting the strategic planning process
  • Supporting the operational teams with reviewing and analysing the financial performance
  • Producing monthly accounts and management reporting in line with the timetable, and prepared to a high standard in accordance with IFRS
  • Managing the annual statutory accounts preparation and audit
  • Coordinating the cash flow forecasting, payment planning and management of receivables factoring arrangement
  • Working closely with the shared service centre in Hungary to ensure accounting, processes and controls are operating efficiently and to a high standard
  • Implementing a robust financial control framework
    • The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a solid technical background. You will possess strong communication skills and be able to motivate and lead a small team. You will be an ambitious individual who is looking to develop their skills and take more ownership within an environment of constant change.
