Our client, an exciting FMCG brand is looking to recruit an immediately available Financial Controller. This role is initially on a temporary basis, with a view to go permanent. The business is going through a rapid period of change and growth and this role requires someone who can keep up with the pace of the business, and be happy to work in a continually changing environment.Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this role will form a major part in providing financial compliance, accurate and timely reporting as well as improving systems and help develop a finance team of 3.Responsibilities include:Developing controles and procedures to support group finance, ensure all transactions are reconciledOversee and prepare the monthly, quarterly and yearly management accounts and present to the DirectorsManagement and ownership of the Cash flow (actual and budget), including control of the treasury functionMentor, motivate and develop a team of 3.Set in place rigorous and timely forecasting procedures across the businesses.Develop timely financial controls across the businessesFull budget preparation, including detailed monthly analysis of variancesPreparation of all monthly financials including a monthly board packPreparation of payroll, VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales returnsDevelop strong relationships with all Senior Managers within the business.Skills & Experience required:Ideally qualified with some PQE experienceIt is essential that you have prior experience of working in a FMCG or retail businessAn inquisitive individual who will challenge and understand all areas of the business to ensure the ultimate accuracy of the financial information.A practical, commercial individual who is prepared to be hands on, with the added ability to report & communicate at Director level.A superb opportunity for someone energetic who will help the business take this brand to the next level.
