Job Description

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT £18 - £19.50 ph Central London6 months initiallyPossible temp to permLooking for an experienced EA who can support the CEO. You will have a proven track record providing first class support including drafting correspondence, working at board level and minuting meetings. You will understand the need to think ahead and ensure the CEO has everything they need for meetings. Someone who wants to get involved and will take the time to understand the pressures of CEO and offer effective support often without being asked.The successful candidate will be:

  • Providing high quality and timely day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to the CEO
  • Managing the production and publication (on the intranet and internet as appropriate) of Board and Committee packs
  • Organising internal and external meetings and functions, including travel, accommodation, itineraries, catering and expense claims
  • Producing high quality reports, PowerPoint presentations and graphics, correspondence, minutes and file notes, as well as drafting correspondence as required
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes
  • Planning, organising and prioritising own workload
  • Managing diaries, emails and contacts for the senior team

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and tact
  • Flexible, able to multi-task and work on own initiative
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing is essential, including the ability to write concisely and accurately in plain English.
  • The ability to proof read, review the work of others and ensure the production of a consistently high standard of documentation
  • Excellent IT software skills and knowledge of Microsoft system and associated applications, including MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
  • The ability to establish credibility, deal confidently and competently, and maintain good working relationships
