A unique opportunity for a Clerk of Works to join a successful construction and property consultancy in Central London.The CompanyThe Clerk of Works will join an established, medium-sized consultancy specialising in cost management, project management, project monitoring, specialist cost consultancy and CDM.Together with its associated consultant firms, the group employs approximately 200 professional and administrative staff worldwide.The company is a great employer with very low staff turnover.The RoleAs a Clerk of Works, you will be working mainly on new build residential projects which often have an additional retail or commercial space alongside. There will also be some work for local authorities, notably on schools and other municipal buildings.You will be joining a team of 9 Clerks of Works who spend the vast majority of their time on site rather than in the office. Sites are widely spread within the M25 area and some consideration is given to proximity to your home address, minimising time spent travelling. All travel expenses are covered.The PersonThe Clerk of Works will have at least 3 years experience of relevant residential work from any sector or background. Experience of retail and commercial projects, as well as local authority work, will all be advantageous.You may have started your career in a specific trade, giving you a particular expertise in one area, and you will have subsequently developed a comprehensive knowledge of construction projects.In returnThe Clerk of Works will benefit from
