An Excellent opportunity has arisen for a CNC Turner based in Caxton.The CNC Turner role is working for an international market leader in their niche industry. You will be offered great rates of pay, training and guidance and finish at lunch time on Fridays!This role is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis.JOB SUMMARYThe CNC Turner will be programming, setting and operating CNC lathes (Haas or Fanuc) using stainless steel material.The CNC Turner main duties include Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes Using stainless steel materials and sometimes Nylon of PTFE Maintain equipment To establish and uphold a professional and confident rapport when performing your daily duties and conferring with shop floor personnel Health & Safety - Risk assessments/Method statements To offer customer support while working on site, looking at all scenarios in reducing machinery down timeThe skills/qualifications required for CNC Turner Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage however full training will be provided for the right candidate Be proficient with the use of various hand tools and mechanical equipment. An engineering qualification would be an advantage Flexible attitude to work as you will be required to work overtime paid at time and a halfSalary and Benefits for CNC Turner Up to £16 per hour dependent on experience, £9.50 to £10.00 per hour for a trainee Overtime paid at time and a half Free parking onsite Half day on a Friday Workplace pensionThe CNC Turner will work Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, plus overtime.MUST drive due to location.Shepherd Stubbs is an Equal Opportunities Employer acting both as an Employment Agency and Employment Business.
