We currently have a greatopportunity for a Depot Operations Supervisor to join our friendly operations team,at our depot in Plymouth.We are offering a competitive salary for the position and as a Depot Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operatingfunctions within the depot, havingthe ability to adapt to change with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. You will support the Area Operations Managerbyensuringfull compliance to all statutory legislation, company policies and procedures is adhered.In thisrole you will be expected to manage 20drivers by keeping clear lines of responsibility, ensuring drivers are working within driver handbook regulations and company policy and procedures, while working with the the management team to resolve any arising issues.This a full time and permanant vacancy, working 40 hours Monday - Friday.You will also be requirted to be a point of contactpart ona rota basis forbank holiday / Saturday on call cover.Youll have access to:A competitive salaryIndustry leading safety standards and supportCareer progression opportunities in operational functionsPension schemeWere looking for:• Knowledge of / previous work within the fuel distribution industry is desirable but not essential• Knowledge of EU driving hours / WTD is a necessity• Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise• Good listening skills• Excellent communicator• High degree of self-motivation• Resilient, persistent and tenacious• HSE qualifications are an advantage• Ability to manage change effectively is essential• Experience of conducting appraisals / performance management is desirableCompany InformationWe employ 2,500 colleagues based across our depots around the UK from the highlands of Scotland to the Channel Islands.
