Job Description

Injection Mould / Cast Mould Machine Operator required on a contract basis paying an hourly rate of £17.00ph based in Castle Bromwich.Our client is a world leading, automotive manufacturer of prestige and high valued motor vehicles. This role is offered on an ongoing contract basis with the potential for further contract extensions for the right candidate.INJECTION MOULD / CAST MOULD MACHINE OPERATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To operate the PU (Polyurethane) Cast Moulding machines as well as Injection Mould machines
  • The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Safe, organised and clean working method is essential
  • Working in a prototype environment
  • Assisting group leaders and management teams in the set up and running of the new machines
    • INJECTION MOULD / CAST MOULD MACHINE OPERATOR REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven experience of operating Polyurethane Machines is essential
  • Proven experience of operating Injection Mould Machines is essential
  • Will have the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Good positive attitude
  • The ability to learn quickly and pick-up new skills
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Specific technical or vocational training or certification preferred
  • Work in a team environment and respect all teammates
  • Comfortable regularly performing repetitive tasks
    • WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week - Rotating Shift Pattern 1-week rotation: £17.00 per hourShift 1: Monday to Thursday 6.00am – 14.00pm & Friday 6.00am – 12.00amShift 2: Monday to Thursday 14.00pm – 22.00pm & Friday 10.45am – 16.45pmKEY SKILLS: Injection Moulding / Cast Moulding / Polyurethane (PU) Operation
