Job Opportunity: Event AdministratorLocation: BirminghamSalary Range: £22,000 - £25,000Are you a dynamic and experienced Event Administrator looking to take the next step in your careerAn exciting opportunity has emerged within a well-established events agency near Birmingham.With a surge in projects and new clients, we are seeking a confident individual to join our clients team to work on a range of diverse corporate events.This role promises growth, challenge, and the chance to thrive in a vibrant environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Working within a team, you would be working with a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships through effective communication and rapport building
  • Event Planning: From intimate meetings to large scale conferences and award ceremonies, you will work on the end-to-end process of event planning, preparation, and flawless delivery
  • Project Management: Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, budget management, supplier liaison, and technical arrangements to ensure seamless execution
  • Delegate Management: Facilitate attendee engagement through invitation management, registration systems, travel coordination, and post-event follow-up
  • On-Site Support: Provide hands-on support during events to guarantee smooth operations and address any unforeseen challenges
  • Efficient Multi-Tasking: Juggle multiple tasks and deadlines to meet the demands of the expanding event calendar
  • Adherence to Processes: Ensure compliance with organisational protocols and maintain meticulous records to uphold quality standards
  • Updating Systems: Ensure reports and databases are updated with confidential and essential information, to include extensive excel work
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Proven Experience: Previous experience in an Event Administrator or Event Co-ordinator role, either within an agency or in-house, is essential
  • Thrives Under Pressure: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Engaging Personality: Bring enthusiasm, confidence, and exceptional interpersonal skills to interact at all levels
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for spreadsheet management
  • Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with acute attention to detail
  • Transportation: Access to personal transport is required for this role.
