Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a SEN Support worker to join an Ofsted GOOD SEN School in Wallington starting immediately.The roles will be full-time, long-term, supporting various aspects of education (all classroom based), 1:1 and group learning for Key Stage 1-5 pupils (2 to 19 years old), the school caters for children with Social Emotional& Behavioural Difficulties and additional Learning Difficulties / complex needs/ Special Educational Needs.*The school will consider individuals who have experience in mainstream schools and graduates as they will be providing on site training and CPD.Location: South London (Wallington - SM5)Duration: Long TermStart Date: ImmediateContract: Monday - Friday (Full-Time)The successful applicants will have: · Experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age ( Key Stage 1/2/3/4 or 5, mixed gender)· Previous experience working with vulnerable individuals or SEN· Excellent Behaviour Management skills· Ability to utilise/implement Positive Behaviour Strategies· A calm, patient manner and ability to react positively to a fast-changing environment· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers· An Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce barred list DBS Certificate registered on the update serviceIf you would like to be considered for this role or require further information, please feel free to apply
