Job Description

I am working with a school who are looking for an experienced Science Teacher to join their team to start as soon as possible.The school is a part of an Outstanding academy who aim to deliver a broad and challenging curriculum to all our students in a cal and well-ordered environment. They boast consistent high student performance at GCSE, progression to post 16 study at the 6thform and on to university.The Role

  • Be accountable for student progress and development across the subject area for KS3,KS4 and post 16.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the curriculum
  • To ensure that you are providing an appropriately broad, balanced and relevant curriculum that is differentiated to the needs of all.
  • Plan and assess to ensure that the progress expectation and targets for students are met

About you
  • Hold QTS and a relevant undergraduate degree
  • Have at least 1 years teaching experience
  • Have a proven success in raising achievement
  • Show high levels of ICT skills and experience of how new technologies can be used to raise achievement
  • Have a DBS on the update service
  • Be available 5 days a week for the new school year (from September)
