Job Description

Are you a proactive finance professional who enjoys building good working relationships Do you enjoy working with financial models and have the desire to learn more Would you like to join an organisation that offers great employee benefits If yes, pleaseread on!Robertson Bell are pleased to be partnering with one of the largest housing associations in the UK, who are seeking a Finance Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. Joining a busy team, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and takingownership of existing and upcoming schemes that arise.The main responsibilities for the Finance Analyst are as follows:

  • Play a crucial role in analysing and reviewing the viability when looking at different business schemes and ensuring all costing is accurate.
  • Have a good financial understanding of all the costing information and ensuring this is all populated into the finance model accurately.
  • Having good attention to detail when checking for discrepancies and if so, liaising with customers and any queries that may arise.
  • Attending internal stakeholder meetings with the asset business partners and development team to assist with all analysis and reports.
  • Lead on KPI reporting.
This permanent position is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has come from a housing background and is keen to develop their skills and knowledge. As the successful candidate you will also be driven to build strong customer and client relationshipsand have first class communication skills. This role is based in South London and has highly flexible working arrangements on offer as well as a great benefits package.The successful candidate will:
  • Have experience working for a Housing Association, in either an Analyst or Business Partnering role.
  • Have basic knowledge of financial modelling
  • Be studying towards a relevant accounting qualification or equivalent.
  • Have good Excel skills.
  • Have a strong desire to learn.
  • Preferably have used Proactis, Sequel or BRIXX, but this not essential.
