Consultant Nephrologist – 10 + 0.5 PAsEpsom & St Helier University NHS TrustApplications are invited for a 10. + 0.5 PAs substantive consultant post in Nephrology at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.This is a full-time (10 + 0.5 PAs) substantive renal consultant nephrologist post and an exciting opportunity to join a team of 22 nephrologists working out of a busy regional Renal Unit based at St Helier. Around half the time will be spent focusing on the delivery of general nephrology, acute kidney injury and advanced kidney care services based at Frimley Park Hospital. This includes a commitment to care for a cohort of haemodialysis patients based in a local satellite dialysis unit. Two days a week when not covering acute renal services will be spent supporting the general nephrology service at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. Depending on how the current COVID crisis develops some of this support may be via virtual clinics that initially may be delivered from St Helier or Frimley Park Hospital.There is potential to develop a specialist interest depending on the needs of the service and the strengths of the successful candidate. This could be delivered from either Frimley Park or St Helier.
