Job Description

Menzies Distribution are looking for aLoad Strapperbased on our customers site Saica Paper UK Ltd, to strap onsite trailers in a safe manner following all site procedures to a satisfactory conclusion.Shifts

  • Days 12 hour shift M-F 60 hours £10.33ph
  • Nights 12 hour shift M-F 60 hours £10.33ph
Relevant COVID-19 precautions will be taken during the recruitment process for this roleDuties:The main purpose of this role will be to be responsible for ensuring all loads are strapped securely before they leave site in line with legal requirements. Full training provided.
  • Loading/unloading of packaging
  • Co-operate with management and team to ensure job is complete at end of the day
  • Work to timescale and deadlines
  • Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned.
  • Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork.
  • Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate.
  • Maintain communication at all times with the Traffic Office.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, using all equipment safely as specified in operating procedures.
  • Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users.
  • Comply with safe working practices at all times.
