Service EngineerAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Service Engineer based in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. The work location can vary from day to day depending on the clients site. Some work can require significant travel to Ireland; MainlandUK; Offshore Islands; Europe and the Middle East.Applicants should therefore ensure that they have sufficient arrangements in place to allow them to work and travel away from home. The employment contract will state the maximum time that the Company will expect an employee to be away from home on the rareoccasions where overnight stays are necessaryusually 2 weeks.The successful candidate will earn £25,000- £30,000 plus overtime.Hours of work are 37.5 per week, the business requires flexible start and finish times as travel to clients site is a main requirement. Following Probation period employees are expected to participate in an On Call rota system allowing the business to respondto full calendar call outs when necessary.Role Requirements

• Qualifications covering Electronic Engineering or as an Electrician.
• Full Driving Licence3 point Maximum penalty
• Job requires significant manual handling ability and matching fitness levels.
• Experience of working with electrical systems and or single and 3 phase electrical systems.
• Experience of Training other Engineers

Role Responsibilities

• Working as part of the total team to provide an excellent customer service primarily focussed on the installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of high voltage UPS systems.
