Job Description

Workplace Services Messaging Specialist Cardiff £50,000 to £55,000 + Bonus + Full BenefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity for you, an experienced Workplace Services Messaging specialist to join a leading IT organisation based in Cardiff.Working within the Workplace Services Technical Product Team, you as the Workplace Services Messaging Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting M365 messaging and related technologies for cloud and on-premise services fornew and existing customers. With significant hand-on experience administering large M365 (Office, Exchange, SharePoint, MS Teams, Azure AD, Intune), Exchange online and Exchange hybrid environmentsEspecially important in this role for the workplace services messaging specialist, is an excellent knowledge and significant experience with Exchange online and Intune to deploy laptop images and package applications.

  • M365 Cloud (Office, Exchange, SharePoint, MS Teams, Azure AD, Intune)
  • Exchange Online
  • Exchange management server
  • Mimecast
  • Intune (management of mobile devices)
  • Jamf Mobile Device Management
  • Windows 10/11 technologies (AutoPilot, AlwaysOn VPN, BitLocker, MDM and MAM, Defender ATP, Windows Virtual Desktop, System Centre)
In order to be successful in your application for the workplace services messaging specialist, you should have experience in:
  • Significant experience of providing engineering support covering complex: incident, problem and change management
  • High level of experience in working with Microsoft 365.
  • Exceptional Exchange competency
  • Demonstrable experience with troubleshooting in complex enterprise environments
  • Intermediate level or better proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell
  • Understanding of Active Directory
  • Keen sense of customer/solution ownership, an overall drive for excellence, and a proven ability to manage assigned project tasks to successful completion
  • Experience in formal change processes and documenting change.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
