  • 23 days annual leave - will be increased to 25 days after three full years of employment

Salary: Up to £29,000 ~ Depending On ExperienceAbout the Company:Our Client is a well-established financial advisor practice who deals with High Net worth clients.They are now looking for an experienced Technical Administrator to join their existing established team.You will be responsible for assisting the IFAs and Paraplanners with technical and administrative duties for a range of products.What Your Day to Day Duties Will Include:
  • Communicating with Paraplanners to keep up-to-date with new products, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace.
  • Comply at all times with the firms Compliance; Training & Competence; Complaints and Data Security policies/procedures.
  • To ensure that the firms clients are treated fairly at all times.
  • To work as part of a team alongside the firms advisers, paraplanners and administrators to provide clients with a professional ongoing Financial Planning experience.
To prepare and maintain client files
  • Once in receipt of a completed Data Capture Form, collate all the relevant quantitative detailed information required to compile a financial services report.
  • Ensure a fee is agreed between Adviser and Client.
  • Ensure letter of engagement is issued to client.
  • Check all paperwork/information is available in order that the clients file meets the FCAs rules and requirements.
  • Discuss the clients needs and objectives with the relevant adviser and senior paraplanner in order to complete any research.
To prepare recommendations - working with the Financial Adviser/Paraplanners
  • Review Investment Portfolio and asset allocation by checking against risk profile
  • Prepare information for analysis.
  • Help to obtain information and prepare draft recommendation report ready for Financial Adviser/paraplanners.
To implement recommendations
  • Complete any application/proposal forms to the best of your knowledge.
  • Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order.
  • Act on any changes made by the client by updating XPlan records.
  • Implement the chosen/agreed investment strategies.
To undertake client reviews
  • Act as point of contact and deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties.
  • Establish and build strong relationships with clients.
What is Needed to Be Considered for this Role:
  • Previous experience within an IFA practice and Paraplanning is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to work and think under own initiative
  • FCA understanding of regulations and products
  • Knowledge of XPlan would be helpful
  • Well organised and IT literate
