Job Description

Technical Architect – Hybrid 1 Day | Cardiff UK – Permanent PositionAgency Summary:The role can be reduced, in summary, as being responsible for developing technical architectures that deliver business objectives; supporting and encouraging others to create the most effective designs with a focus on delivering value.The role supports both existing core business systems, and the newer, modern, digital services.Line Responsibility: NoneTeam Size: Currently 4, expanding to 8.Tech Environment: Java [Spring Boot] | Node.JS | AWS | Microservices | APIs | MongoDB | Kafka

  • Provide technical guidance & architectural designs to shape future digital services; effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Helping to establish & maintain architectural principles, strategy and technical direction.
  • Working closely with development teams, ensuring their output adheres to the architectural designs.
Right to Apply:To take on this role you must LIVE in the UK with a full right to work and 5 years’ minimum residency prior to application date. For SC Clearance Levels, you must be a British, Irish, Commonwealth or EEA National.Experience/Skills:
  • Experience in a formal Development or Engineering capacity.
  • Proven knowledge/experience in Architectural Tools, Methods and Industry best practices.
  • Experience of Public Cloud Services, ideally IaaS and PaaS.
  • Experience of translating user requirements to solution designs.
  • Experience in a similar technical environment (as listed above).
