Job Description

Job Vacancy: Team Manager (Childrens Services)Our client is seeking a dedicated Team Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality services for children in need, children at risk, and children being looked after. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to lead, motivate, and support a teamto meet objectives while maintaining a high standard of professional practice.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of social workers to deliver quality services for children in need, at risk, and in care.Organize work to meet objectives and manage priorities effectively.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.Collect and monitor data for performance indicators and utilize this information for service planning and review.Maintain effective communication with service users, staff, managers, and other agencies.Enable service users and staff to contribute to the planning and development of services.Demonstrate a commitment to social work values and achieve the best possible outcomes for children.Requirements:A recognized social work qualification and registration with the Care Council for Wales.At least two years of post-qualification experience with complex child protection cases.Experience in staff/student supervision.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and on own initiative.Flexibility to work outside of regular office hours when needed.Enhanced CRB check, a valid driving licence, and insurance.Skills and Competencies:Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Comprehensive understanding of the legislative and policy framework related to child protection and care.IT skills and experience with performance monitoring.Commitment to the application of social work values and delivering the best outcomes for children.Standard of Dress / PPE:Adherence to dress code or PPE requirements where necessary.If youre a dedicated social worker with leadership experience and a passion for supporting children and families, our client would like to hear from you.
