Page Group are partnered with an international manufacturing organisation thats currently investing into its HR & Talent team.We have been appointed to recruit a brand new role in the business for a Talent Development Business Partner to amalgamate Recruitment and L&D into one function: Talent.If you have experience in L&D or Talent, please apply below:Client DetailsThe business is a socially and environmentally responsible organisation that is has been in place carbon neutral initiatives and works with the local community on community projects.They are leading front the front within the manufacturing industry with their modern thinking and corporate objectives.Starting salary for the role is £35,000 to £40,000 with 10% bonus and 25 days holiday + bank.Flexible working hours is on offer plus work from home 1 day per week.Free on site parking based in Cardiff.DescriptionKey priorities for the Talent department are:

  • Early career development
  • Identifying and nurturing early talent within the business (career planning discussions)
  • L&D discussions with line managers (i.e learning needs analysis, training needs, succession planning)
  • L&D design & delivery
  • Events & Systems management (eLearning and success factors but training will be given)
  • Improving the onboarding process to improve staff retention
Key duties of the role will involve:* Design and deliver the L&D offering, assessing priority and future needs.* A focus on embedding talent development programmes including: professional development, early careers (traineeships and apprenticeships), graduate opportunities, internships and other careers initiatives required to support the development of our futuretalent pipeline.* To provide and deliver a proactive, efficient and flexible service on matters such as: professional development, soft skills, new manager, formal qualifications and ad hoc project work.* Desing & deliver talent development programmes to enable our employees to progress their careers* Design and deliver in-house courses, in multiple methodologies and systems where appropriate. Learning content created through engaging with Subject Matter Experts.* Marketing development creating Brand Aligned Content and visual assets* Assist with succession planning and high potential identification. Produce monthly ad-hoc reports to assist with the production of monthly statistics and assist the Talent Manager with the analysis, along with identifying themes and trends.* Support with onboarding and induction of talent pipelines e.g. early careers* Support management early careers with reviews of performance* Module/Session Coordination* Learner Management on talent and recruitment* Own, develop and maintain career journeys to ensure that career options are clear and transparent to colleagues* Provide people managers coaching and advice when necessary whilst driving best practice across the organisation that ensures compliance with talent policies, procedures and values.* Event coordination for talent initiatives, e.g. apprentice assessment centres* Liaise with managers to understand their recruitment needs, internal replacement opportunities and co-ordinate the recruitment team to source, prepare and undertake the recruitment process.* Manage the relationship with recruitment agencies in terms of cost, delivery and quality.* Ensure that the correct standards are maintained in terms of job accountabilities, person specification, job advertisement, interviews and testing are maintained.* Ensure the best candidate experience is delivered through the recruitment process and in partnership with line managers and HR professionals ensure that onboarding is delivered for the smooth transition in to employment.ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:- Minimum 5 years experience in a L&D or Talent Development role- Experience Business Partering with line managers on training, learning and developement- CIPD or L&D relevant qualificationsJob OfferPlease apply with your CV.Talent Development Business Partner.Cardiff.
