Support Service Team Manager£28,000Full timeWe are working with a wonderful organisation, who provide support and refuge to women and children who are experiencing domestic violence. They make a real difference and work to eradicate violence against women and girls, and to also support survivors.The role involves managing and developing a team including Independent Personal Advisors and other frontline staff members within the organisation, to provide a high-quality frontline service to women, children and young people experiencing domestic violence.This is a full time position work 35 hours a week, with on-call duties which is on a rotad basis.The duties of the role would include, but not limited to:Oversee all day to day operations of the team.Formal Case management carried out along with supervision of staff.Identify and implement ongoing service improvement.Contribute to the development and training for all staff, along with policies and procedures for the organisation.Facilitate regular team meetings and staff development.Be responsible for team rotas, absence requests and arrange for any cover needed when required.Be responsible for IPAs delivering regular 1:1 and telephone supportThe skills and experience required:Leadership/supervisory and management experience (2 years).Ability to write detailed reports.Have a good understanding of domestic abuse and knowledge of regulatory standardsExperience of working with vulnerable people and children Experience of managing a caseload Strong crisis management skills What youll get in return:33 days annual leaveLife insurance Flexi working Paid sick pay and emergency dependent leave Employee assistance program - supporting your health and well-being at home and at work.
